Chrysanths and Roses

Pink chrysanthemums and yellow roses create a lively colour contrast. Santini is often paired with roses, adding volume and delicate texture to the bouquet. Eustoma lasts around 10 to 14 days in a vase, and its buds open gradually, changing the bouquet's appearance over time. Small waxy flowers grow on needle-like branches, and their subtle fragrance suits a bouquet intended to offer aroma as well as colour. Before placing the bouquet in a vase, remove the lower leaves from the chrysanthemum stems, as they break down quickly in water and spoil it. In the Czech context, flowers are usually given in odd numbers.
